I Made A Mistake OOPS!

For Many years I worked towards Perfection and only wanted to be the BEST at whatever I did.

Mistakes was Unacceptable in my way of thinking.

I would push myself so HARD to make things happen or would not do it at all.

This was my theme in my 20’s & 30’s either everything or nothing, no middle ground.

I grew my business very nicely to be making more MONEY then just about anyone else in my industry but the pressure was so great.

About 20 years ago I start my journey of self development and freeing myself from such high expectations.

I had to relearn MISTAKES are a natural thing in life and looked at in a positive productive way.

I just got off the phone with a client and they are upset with a choice they made a few years earlier.

I asked them “do you believe you did the best you could back then?”

They answered” Yes”

We spoke about using this situation to become a better person and learn from it.

The pressure turned into calmness.

We spoke about all we can change is the current time/ being present and how being present can help open us up to change and goodness.

Because they heard it in a calm and positive way, the so called bad situation ended up being a learning experience on how to deal with past painful situations. They now feel very free and read to move on.

All the years I put pressure on myself not to make a mistake, I can now share with others how to deal with these situations.

It’s amazing how we can take something that looks bad and turn it into something very positive.
